This is a terrible product. My 55Lb 8 year old has had this bed for just a few months and its not sturdy at all after re- tightening all the screws. Nice look, poor quality. I now have to buy a new bed in 3 months time.The bed was not the best to assemble. A few parts were either not labeled or did not match the instructions. A few screws did not tighten, it appears that the original hole was made too large so the screws just spin and spin, which caused the bed to not feel super sturdy in areas. You have to have a super thin mattress or the railings are not tall enough. I had to put a body pillow between to prevent possibility to roll off. The second photo shows the railing compared to the mattress. The slide is not a smooth landing. There is a raise at the end that my son keeps hurting his bottom on. I don’t hate it but I don’t like it. If it wasn’t such a pain to take a part and I hadn’t spend a few hundred after shipping I’d return it. My opinion go with something else.My 4 year old absolutely loves his new bed. It was surprisingly easy to put together. I did it solo, but I recommend two people. The bed is sturdy and gives enough space for a child to grow. I recommend a mattress no higher than 5” for safetyNice bed, only issue is that our twin mattress is a little small for it. Other than that my kid loves it.My son loves this bed and it's very sturdy and easy to assembleMy five year old granddaughter loves this bed and the space under it.This was a gift to my great-granddaughter and another state. She was so excited that he was going to put it together, but no bolts or screws came with it
