Bed frame looks great. Good quality. There is a 4" gap between bottom of frame wood slats which are stapled to velcro that sticks to the actual frame. Now, according to Sealy hybrid highpoint mattress warranty, they require the wooden frame slats to be no more than 3" gap. So we added our own 2" wide wooden slats to lessen the gap so it didn't void mattress warranty. Not hard to do. The thickness of the slats are 9/16", and just under 5' long. It took about 10 to 12 extra slats to fill the gap. We found that buying slat material ten foot length, and cutting basically in half was more economical, versus buying 8 foot pieces.. There are no written instructions whatsoever! Just pictures. If you are somewhat mechanically inclined, you will figure out, but a little frustrating due to no written Instructions, which is my only complaint. Yeah, the wooden slats should be closer together for stability, but not too hard to add. The extra cost was around $50. You want to get the slat material with beveled/rounded edges so it won't tear bottom of your new mattress. We were told to rotate mattress once a month for 6 months, then every other month for a year. Then twice a year per our 10 year warranty. Hope this helps someone who is buying this frame. Also, the box is very heavy!! Our box came in ok condition. However, the contents inside can easily get damaged as how its packed up. Bottom line worth the money.Bought this frame for my 14 year old daughter’s room. Yes, you don’t need a box spring with it, but make sure you get a pretty tall mattress. We have a memory foam that is about 8 inches and it is not tall enough to cover up the boards in back. We ended up getting a box spring just because it looked more aesthetically pleasing. Now I will say, the main reason we bought it was bc there were a lot more boards for stability on the platform itself. It is very sturdy. The legs as well are very low profile so they are very strong. All in all this was a good value. The fabric seems durable. The instructions were not entirely clear and I was short some screws at the end but I think it was because at some point I got them mixed up. However it did not hinder completion of the assembly nor did it affect the sturdiness of the finished product. I did not realize how low it would be but I'm 5'1 so it's perfect.I bought this bed because the one I wanted was sold out it turned out to be a nice bed sturdy didn’t take too long to put together but still a lot of pieces worth the money the gray color I really love also. I still will be upgrading the bed when I find the one I really want. This took me about two hours to assemble myself. It was relatively easy. The bed is beautiful and seems sturdy. I'm happy with the results!Super nice simple bed great for the money. Better than ikea beds. Super easy to put together. The fabric looks great. If you’re looking for a bulky bed this bed is not for you.Pretty easy to assemble and looks very nice. The headboard isn’t as high as it looks on the picture but still nice. The bed is about 4” from the floor, so you really can’t put much underneath but besides that, the bed is beautiful and sturdy and worth the money I paid.
