The bed is beautiful. But upon opening the package one side of the headboard was damaged. It was in a spot that could be hidden and didn’t seem to affect the structural integrity, but I haven’t tried it with the mattress yet to be sure. It’s clearly not damaged from shipping because of where it’s at, so it clearly happened in the factory. I also ended up not liking the side nail studded pieces and was able to leave those off without any structural problems. The velvet is very soft and the button tufting seems to be sturdy. Overall a nice bed, but disappointing to have it arrive damaged.
